Homemade Salsa


INGREDIENTS:

6 medium tomatoes
1 medium red onion
2 cloves garlic
1 jalepeno pepper (add more for extra heat)
handful of fresh cilantro leaves


1. add all ingredients to food processor and blend.
2. try not to eat it all in one sitting 


Grilled Veggies


INGREDIENTS:

chopped veggies of your choice, olive oil, paprika, dill weed,& mustard powder.

1. chop veggies.
2. add olive oil, paprika, dill weed, & mustard powder to veggies.
3. put in a wok & cook on the grill OR sautee inside.
4. stuff your face & feel great @ the same time!!


Knock-your-socks-off Granola


INGREDIENTS:

2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup each: almonds, pecans, & walnuts
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup flax seeds
3/4 cup maple syrup, grade A
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon (or a taste more if you love it!!)

add ins: raisins, dried cranberries, pretty much any dried fruit you can think of...

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees. line baking tray with parchment paper. mix oats, almonds, pecans, & walnuts together on the baking tray. cook/toast oats & nuts for 10 minutes.

2. add maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, & vanilla to a small saucepan. cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, constantly stirring.

3. mix toasted oats & nuts with flax seed & wheat germ. add maple syrup mixture and mix well.

4. reduce oven heat to 300 degrees. spread mixture on the baking tray evenly. bake for 25-30 minutes.

5. let cool, then DEVOUR... or save some it's up to you!
